Physical Fitness

The gym isn't for everyone, and if you're looking for an interesting and unique workout, the martial arts are perfect! Not only are you being active, but you are also learning applicable self defense skills. This is all done in a supportive and friendly environment with certified instructors.

There are many class options with different fitness levels.

For adults looking for a high energy and challenging workout, Muay Thai Kickboxing is perfect. The first half of the class is designed to exhaust the body, simulating a long fighting match.

Adults looking for a moderate workout will enjoy Karate and / or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Physical fitness is a natural part of the classes. You will be working on strength, balance, and endurance.

Aikido and yoga are still decent workouts, however, they are lower impact. Balance and strength training still play a role, but these are much gentler on the body.

It is also important for children to be active. Our kids classes all incorporate physical fitness. This is often hidden in the form of games and challenges. Kids are able to work hard while having fun and learning new skills.
